Defendant’s Motion to Release Bail
(CIVIL CASES)
1. To use this form:
hearing, and
(a) you must have personally appeared in court for your Civil Bench Warrant
(b) you must have spoken with the clerk in court to request that your posted bail
be returned to you rather than being applied to the balance of the Judgment.
The official minutes for the hearing must reflect that the bail will be released to you,
or the court will not be able return your money.

Please provide complete information on the blank lines in the motion.
3. Make sure the name, address, and phone number portion in the top left corner of the
page is filled out completely and correctly. You must provide an address to which
the US Postal Service will deliver, and at which you will be able to receive any
delivered mail. The Court will NOT re-mail any checks returned by the US
Postal Service, nor is the court responsible for misdirected mail.
4.
Once the order has been signed, it will be submitted to the Accounting Department
for disbursement of funds. It will take approximately 2 weeks for you to receive
a check after the Judge has signed the order.
