Request for Emergency Judicial Order
And Now this 1St day of July, 2021, Maria Musti Cook, President Judge of
the Nineteenth Judicial District, hereby requests the following relief by Order of
the Supreme Court:
a. Acknowledge the prior declaration of judicial emergency in this judicial
district through August 31, 2 02 1.

as follows: preliminary hearings, summary trials, sentencings, and
probation/parole violation hearings.
2. Suspend the requirement of Pa.R.C.P. No. 1915.7 requiring written
consent at custody conciliation conferences, and permit verbal
consent.
The circumstances necessitating this request for an emergency judicial order
are as follows: Public health emergency in Pennsylvania involving exposure to
COVID-19.
To the extent possible and practical under the circumstances, notice of this
Request for Emergency Judicial order has been or will be:

✓ posted on the court's or county's website
posted on the county bar association's website
