York County Magisterial District Court 19-2-03 Temporarily Closed
ARRISBURG – York County Court Administration today announced the temporary closure of
Magisterial District Court 19-02-03, 390 East Berlin Road in York, following an employee’s positive test
for COVID-19.
he employee last worked in the magisterial district court on Thursday, November 19 and as required,
adhered to health and safety guidelines including the use of personal protective equipment and social
distancing when interacting with coworkers and the public. Work areas with which the employee had
physical contact were cleaned.
n Monday, November 23 a second employee experienced potential symptoms and has not been in the
court since Monday. The court is now closed and will not reopen until work areas with which the
second employee had physical contact have again been cleaned. Staff will not return to the office until
they are symptom-free and as directed by their personal physicians. Neighboring magisterial district
court offices will handle any time-sensitive matters that arise while the court is closed.
