Court has declared a judicial emergency in response to the expected
spread of COVID-19 and has permiffed President Judges to establish
reasonable procedures and policies, IT IS THE ORDER OF COURT as follows:
1.
Unless otherwise modified by the Court Custody Orders
entered in Mercer County prior to the Judicial Emergenciy, shall remain in
full force and effect and are unaffected by the Governc~r’s Stay at Home
Order, with due consideration for the safety of the child.
2.
Custody schedules shall be followed coitsistent with the
regular school schedule as outlined by the respective school districts at
the beginning of
the school year.
The normal schc4oi year custody
schedules will not be disrupted by the current shutdown df schools related
to the COVID-19 virus. This action is taken to provide ccnsistency for the
ponies and to avoid unnecessary petitions being filed with the court
requiring individuals to appear in court for hearings.
3.
The current judicial emergency does not imract nor prohibit
travel by car in order to effectuate custody exchan~es as may be
required by existing child custody orders.
4.
All maffers in custody have been continued untii at
least
Friday, April 3, 2020, with the exceptions of filing emergehcy petitions for
custody, in accordance with the Pennsylvania Supreme CouWs Order of
March 18, 2020 and this Court’s Order of March 19, 2020,
