     I declare that I did not appear at the hearing about the sale of my house because I had a legally acceptable excuse.  I, or 
my spouse, live in the house ordered to be sold. I want another hearing so that I can claim my homestead exemption. I 
understand that I will be notified of the time and place for this hearing if I return this form immediately. I also understand 
that I must attend this hearing.
