     The  Defendant  acknowledges that  the District Attorney  or  attorney  representing  the  Plaintiff  in  this  case  does 
not  and  cannot appear or serve as his or her attorney;  that the District Attorney  or  attorney in this case represents  
only the Plaintiff and will use his or her best efforts to protect the Plaintiff’s best interests; that he or she has the right to 
employ counsel of his  or  her  own  choosing  and,  after  having  been  advised  that  it  may  be  in  his  or  her  best  interests
to  do  so,  the  Defendant  does  hereby waive his  or  her right to counsel. 

  

      The Defendant further agrees that he or she has requested the District Attorney or attorney for the Plaintiff to 
prepare this Answer and Waiver; that testimony may be taken in the above case without further notice to him or her; and 
that the case may be submitted and a final Order of the Court rendered without any further or additional notice to him/her. 

    The Defendant further admits having received a copy of the original       Petition for Support or      Petition for Contempt
or     Petition for Modification in this case; OR 
    The Defendant futher admits having received a copy of the original Complaint for Paternity. The Defendant understands
that he has the right to request genetic testing be done in this case and that the result of such test may be admitted into 

  

vidence on the issue of paternity of the child(ren).  Accordingly, the Defendant hereby waives such genetic testing.

      Comes  the  above-named  Defendant  in  the  above-styled  case  and  hereby  accepts  service  of  a  copy  of  the 
     Petition for Support or        Complaint  for  Paternity or    Petition  for  Contempt  or    Petition  for  Modification
