Comes now the defendant in the above styled cause and respectfully moves this court to schedule
a hearing to reevaluate the issue of whether the defendant is competent to stand trial and to determine
the issue of whether defendant continues to pose a real and present threat of substantial harm to himself
or herself or to others by being at large. In support of this motion, a psychiatrist or psychologist has
stated that it is his or her opinion that the defendant is competent or that the defendant no longer poses
a substantial threat of harm to himself or herself or to others, as evidenced by the certification attached.
Defendant further requests that the court empanel a jury to determine whether defendant is
competent or to determine if defendant no longer poses a real and substantial risk to himself or herself
or to others.
